With the conclusion of the FA draft, you are now free to trade. At this point, trades must be 1-for-1 in players as to maintain roster size. Also, don't forget your roster requirements. The trading period will close Sunday, August 29, a week prior to the start of the season. All trades must be posted AND verified in the trade forum prior to that date.
Each team's salary cap is now increased by $10M dollars. So it is now $93M (less penalties).
The season will start Monday, September 6 . You have the week of 9/6-9/13 to play your first game. The first week of waivers will then have a deadline of 9/13 at noon eastern time.
The end-of-draft game file is on the website. You will have a spreadsheet shortly. Please check these over carefully for errors and report them to Jerry, Jason, and I. A few owners chose to count uncarded players towards their roster count. These players must remain as such for the duration of the season.
In the coming weeks I will be posting a variety of polls. They are merely for your interest and I encourage you to participate to add to the enjoyment of the league. We still have the Carolina team available and need to fill it prior to the start of the season. Please ask around in your leagues. You guys did a great job of this last spring. I would really like to start the season (and end!) with 24 owners.
Lastly, I will be on vacation from July 29 - Aug. 9. I may or may not have internet access during those days.
